We were looking around for a tipper trailer for our farm but couldn’t find anything on the market that quite suited what we wanted. We've had Scimitar Land Levellers for decades. We started with a 3M Land Leveller with Tynes, it did such a great job that in 2015 we upgraded to a 6M HD model with Hydraulic Tynes. Why a HD Land Leveller? Size, weight and versatility. We and our farmers want smooth and level paddocks to drive across - Scimitar Levellers give us the results we need.

What’s so good about Scimitar Trailers?

Tandem axles pivot on 65mm or 75mm pin onto Vesconite bushes that need very little lube and take huge weights. Deck pivot also have Vesconite bushes. Build with passion by a family business. Sandblasted prior to two pot paint being applied.

Which sized trailer best suits my tractor?

Our rule of thumb suggestions would be: 45-60HP – 4 Tonne, 0-80HP – 6 Tonne, 80-100HP – 8 Tonne, 100-130HP – 10 Tonne

Should I purchase a single-axle or tandem 6 tonne, and why?

The single axle is for the more budget sensitive buyer or not very high use, not so concerned about ground pressure or compaction. Tandem is better for smoother ride, less ground compaction.
