Frequently asked questions

What is so good about Scimitar Trailers?
Tandem axles pivot on 65mm or 75mm pin onto Vesconite bushes that need very little lube and take huge weights. Deck pivots also have Vesconite bushes. Sandblasted prior to two pot paint being applied.
What size trailer best suits my tractor?
Our rule of thumb suggestions would be: 45-60HP – 4 Tonne, 0-80HP – 6 Tonne, 80-100HP – 8 Tonne, 100-130HP – 10 Tonne
Should I buy single axle or tandem 6 tonne and why?
The single axle is for the budget sensitive buyer or a lower level user who not so concerned about ground pressure or compaction. Tandem is better for smoother ride, less ground compaction.
